Barbi Reuter is CEO, Chairman, and Designated Broker of Cushman & Wakefield | PICOR, Tucson’s employee-owned, market-leading full-service commercial real estate firm. With 62 employees covering southern Arizona and Sonora, Mexico, C&W PICOR is known for its unique culture, depth of community involvement, and 38 years of client-centric brokerage and management services. Barbi joined the startup as a college freshman then founded the property management division. After a two-decade career in property management, she was promoted to company leadership. Barbi became COO in 2014, President in 2017, and CEO in 2020. Under her leadership, C&W | PICOR was named to the 2022 “Inner City 100” list, recognizing the nation’s top growth firms.
A founding member of CREW Tucson since 2003, Barbi has been an active advocate for member-to-member business and a chapter leader in committees and board service, elected Tucson’s President in 2013. Her involvement with CREW Network began as a delegate in 2006, and she was an inaugural participant in CREW Network’s C-Suite Mentoring program in 2011, an opportunity she credits with accelerating her career. In addition to subsequent committee service at the Network level, Barbi served a two-year board term in 2015 and 2016, and she mentors participants in the Certificate in Leadership Program.
Barbi’s current leadership roles include advisory, executive, and board service for the Cushman & Wakefield Alliance, YMCA of Southern Arizona, Sun Corridor Inc. (southern Arizona’s EDC), and PICOR Charitable Foundation. She is a member of Cushman & Wakefield’s Women’s Integrated Network (WIN), the Southern Arizona Leadership Council, Urban Land Institute, ICSC, CCIM, and a past Chair of the Tucson Metro Chamber board. She was named a 2021 GlobeSt. Woman of Influence (Humanitarian category) and as Tucson’s 2019 “Woman of the Year.” Barbi has received recognition as a Woman of Influence at the local, state, and national levels and was a 2020 Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses scholar. She is a passionate community changemaker and frequently mentors, presents, and publishes.
Together, Barbi and her husband David share four kids, four grandchildren, and two furry beasts.
