Gayle Bourdeau is Vice President and Associate Senior Underwriting Counsel at Stewart Title Guaranty Company-Commercial Services office in Boston. Founded in 1893 and headquartered in Houston, Texas, Stewart Title Guaranty Co. and Stewart Title Company are wholly owned subsidiaries of Stewart Information Services Corp. (NYSE-STC). Stewart Title Commercial Services, a division of Stewart Title Guaranty Company, is part of a customer-focused, global title insurance and real estate services company. Stewart Title is one of the largest title companies in the industry and delivers global title insurance policies and escrow services in more than 80 countries – spanning Asia, the Americas, Europe and Africa – through its network of regional offices in Australia, Canada, Europe, Australia and the U.S. Gayle underwrites and closes local, national and international commercial real estate transactions with a strong focus on complex, multi-site, multi-state portfolio transactions. She also focuses on business development. She has nearly 20 years of experience in the title insurance industry.
Gayle holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Bentley University in Waltham, Mass. and a Juris Doctor from Delaware Law School in Wilmington, Del. A member of CREW Boston since 2003, Gayle has chaired several committees including Membership, Charity Golf, Achievement Awards and Legacy Council. Gayle served on the CREW Boston Board of Directors for four years and was chapter President during 2013-2014. In 2016, Gayle received the CREW Boston Esprit de Coeur Award, as someone who continually puts her heart and soul into the organization. Gayle was co-chair of the Leisure Sub-Committee for the 2009 CREW Network Convention and Marketplace held in Boston, Mass. She has served as a CREW Network Delegate and was on the 2013 CREW Network Nominating Committee. In 2015 and 2016, Gayle served as a Champion Director for the CREW Network Foundation.
Outside of the commercial real estate industry, Gayle is a volunteer in the greater Boston community through The Junior League of Boston, has held many leadership positions, and previously served on its Board of Directors. In 2014, for her work benefiting another non-profit organization in the Boston area, Gayle was honored with the prestigious Sarah Lawrence Award, the highest honor bestowed upon a Junior League of Boston member.
