Karen Whitt works with Colliers International as the President of Investor Services, Project Management, and Real Estate Management Services. Colliers International delivers a full range of products to real estate occupiers, owners and investors worldwide, including global corporate solutions, brokerage, property and asset management, hotel investment sales and consulting, valuation, consulting and appraisal services, mortgage banking and insightful research. With an enterprising culture and significant employee ownership and control, Colliers professionals provide high quality services to clients around the world.

Based in Washington DC, Karen specializes in the delivery of holistic real estate solutions that leverage the strengths of working with one company to add value to client assets. She is responsible for ensuring professional, competent management in all of Colliers’ markets. Her role also includes oversight of the Investor Services and project management platforms, which focuses on strategically connecting Colliers’ Retail, Industrial, Office and Multifamily, brokerage investment sales, project management and property management groups with investor clients. Karen began working in commercial real estate as a property management professional, which helped her develop a ground-up understanding of industry operations. In 2018, she received the Tom Richardson award, the most prestigious honor the firm can bestow. Karen has been a member of CREW Atlanta since 2008 and was selected as a CREW Distinguished Leader in 2017. She was also recognized in 2016 as a Woman of Influence by Real Estate Forum and serves on the IREM National Executive Committee, in addition to BOMA and NAR boards. She currently sits on Virginia Tech’s property management board and is on the executive committee for the university’s undergraduate real estate program, which brings six colleges together for this new degree. Away from the office, Karen is a dedicated mother and enjoys working with Lucky Dog Animal Rescue as an adoption coordinator and foster home provider, as well as the treasurer on the board of directors. Over the last six years, she and her family have personally homed nearly 400 dogs.
