CREW Network Director (2021-2022)
Kim Wingerak is a seasoned, respected professional of multiple use commercial real estate management (leasing, property management, and facilities operations). With over 20 years of progressive experience in the industry, she’s worked with national Canadian landlords including Ivanhoe Cambridge, Dundee, Arcturus, SNC Lavalin and Triovest. Kim also spent a year and a half working in Saudi Arabia. In her current role as vice president of operations, Western Canada for RioCan (the first and one of the largest REITs in Canada), she is focused on contributing to improving the operations across her portfolio of approximately 10 million square feet.
A believer in lifelong learning, Kim’s education includes business administration from Mount Royal University, BOMA RPA, Shopping Centre Management Certificate through ICSC, and the 2018 CREW Network Leadership Certificate program where she was awarded the inaugural Gail Ayers scholar award. An active member of CREW Calgary since 2005, Kim has served as chapter president (2010) and chaired and served on multiple committees over the years. She also served as CREW Network Foundation Director in 2019-2020 and as a mentor for both her chapter and the 2020 CREW Network Leadership Certification program.
Kim and her husband, Darren, have a passion for travel and if you know Kim – she is always busy planning her next adventure. What started as a mantra to visit as many countries as the number of years old that she is has her well ahead of this goal, having visited 60+ countries and counting.
