Darnisa Amante-Jackson

Darnisa Amante-Jackson
President & Co-Founder, DEEP

DEI Training Facilitator

Dr. Darnisa Amante-Jackson, an educational and racial equity strategist, has established a deep commitment to the study of culture, innovation, and adult development. She earned her M.A. in Anthropology from BranDBEIs University and her PhD – Educational Leadership Doctorate (Ed.L.D.) – from Harvard Graduate School of Education, where she is currently a system level leadership lecturer. In a sense, this is where Dr. Amante-Jackson learned to “talk the talk” of DBEI.

For the past four years, Dr. Amante-Jackson has also been walking the walk of DBEI. As CEO of The Disruptive Equity Education Project (DEEP), she has used her expertise to inspire districts, district-leaders, school level leaders, institutes of higher learning, and nonprofits to establish cultures built on a common foundation of respect, accountability, and value. Leading a moderately sized team, she has been intrinsic in the development of diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies for sundry boards, executive directors, superintendents, and municipalities, executing strategies to facilitate change management and re-design.

For Dr. Amante-Jackson, DCCP – the natural evolution from DEEP – has represented the perfect opportunity to harness her years of amalgamated experience to address an acute need for dismantling systems that either implicitly or explicitly proliferate inequity and continue to suppress the voices of the underrepresented and disenfranchised. Relying on her DEEP roots, Dr. Amante-Jackson along with her team of handpicked coordinators, coaches, trainers, and general staff will work to transform organizational cultures by setting long-term DBEI goals, assessing internal value systems, and using quantitative and qualitative data driven processes to constantly measure and evaluate the state and evolution of cultural norms. Her experience working within bureaucracies, achieving equity for diverse stakeholders, and being the calmest and most reasonable voice in rooms with big personalities makes Dr. Darnisa Amante-Jackson and the DCCP team the ideal choice to shepherd any organization in the right direction toward a culture that deeply embraces the principles of DBEI.

Dr. Darnisa Amante-Jackson will be the featured training facilitator during the DEI Training Series – The Reckoning, exclusively for CREW Network members.
