Desiderio’s legislative and regulatory portfolio emphasizes energy, environmental, immigration, infrastructure, and land use policy. He manages The Roundtable’s advocacy on these issues with The White House, Congress, and executive branch departments. Desiderio staffs The Roundtable’s Sustainability Policy Advisory Committee (SPAC), and builds coalitions to unify diverse real estate, business, and environmental stakeholders toward shared policy goals. He has testified to the U.S. Senate and has prepared witnesses for numerous congressional hearings on energy efficiency, wetlands, endangered species, land development, and property rights matters as they affect the built environment.

McCormick is responsible for managing the organization’s tax policy activities. He coordinates the activities of the Real Estate Roundtable’s Tax Policy Advisory Committee, a group of 150 leading real estate tax experts, including the in-house tax directors, general counsel, and chief financial officers of Roundtable members and senior partners from the country’s preeminent real estate advisory firms. The Roundtable’s Tax Policy Advisory Committee works to help lawmakers and federal officials understand how tax rules affect real estate activity, and it promotes pro-growth tax reforms that will facilitate sound, environmentally responsible real estate investment and development.

Rodgers has successfully represented commercial real estate’s stake in the national policy arena on a broad range of legislative and regulatory issues for nearly two decades. In addition to his work in federal government relations on national policy matters pertaining to credit, capital market, homeland security and risk management issues, Rodgers has 15 years of experience in capital market, securitization, real estate investment banking and debt restructuring activities at Mellon Bank, Fannie Mae, The First Boston Corporation, Phillips Realty Capital, a Goldman, Sachs & Co venture with the J.E. Robert Companies (now known as the Archon Group), and Legg Mason.

Rodgers was also appointed by President George H. W. Bush to direct the U.S. Treasury Department’s office of business liaison, where he focused on a broad range of issues affecting America’s business and financial services sectors. He played an integral role in developing and advancing the organization’s Five Point Plan to address the 2007 financial crisis. Rodgers also serves as executive director of the Real Estate ISAC and as a senior fellow of George Washington University's Center for Cyber and Homeland Security.
