CREW Network Foundation Chair
Sharon Herrin is Owner and President of Herrin Commercial Real Estate, established in 2002. Her career spans over 35 years in commercial real estate, and she currently specializes in the lease and sale of retail and income producing properties. She represents owners with over 500,000 sf of retail neighborhood, convenience and special use properties. Her experience in multiple real estate disciplines, among which are single tenant net leased assets and their disposition, tenant representation, project leasing, retail development, management and brokerage lends a distinct advantage to her clients.
Prior to establishing Herrin Commercial Real Estate, Sharon was Vice President of Stanford Realty and Management, B & L Management and Norman Luterman Interests. Sharon’s professional affiliations include International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), North Texas Association of Commercial Realtors (NTCAR), and she is a licensed real estate broker in the state of Texas. Sharon has been a member of CREW Dallas since 1990 and has served as chapter President, Sponsorship Co-Chair, and Programs Chair and Co-Chair. She received the CREW Dallas Outstanding Achievement Award in 2001, the inaugural 2015 CREW In the Community Philanthropic Excellence Award and was named in 2015 as a CREW Dallas Life Member. She has served as a CREW Network Delegate and a Board Trustee for the CREW Network Foundation, and Co-Chaired Sponsorship for the 2013 CREW Network Convention and Marketplace held in Dallas, Texas. Sharon was inducted into the CREW Visionaries program in 2007.
In addition to her real estate career, her philanthropic and community endeavors have led to leadership roles and board service to many organizations including Susan G. Komen Foundation National Board and National Awards Luncheon Chairman, Past President of the Plano Chapter of the Susan G. Komen Foundation, Dallas Women’s Foundation, Dallas Summer Musical’s Guild, UT Southwestern President’s Council, and Girl’s Inc. She is a Past Board Chairman and Board member of LaunchAbility and is currently the LaunchAbility Foundation Board President. She was honored in 2014 with LaunchAbility’s highest award, the Milton P. Levy Outstanding Volunteer Award.
Sharon’s extracurricular activities are health related with a passion for exercise, traveling, being with family and friends and relishing in the simple joys of life itself.
