Jennifer Mazawey

Jennifer Mazawey is a real estate attorney and partner with K&L Gates LLP, a global, full-service law firm. Jennifer’s experience includes working with developers in a number of asset classes, including mixed-use residential, retail, industrial, and office. Jennifer advises clients on all aspects of the development process, including zoning analyses, zoning changes, local planning board and zoning board approvals, and permit acquisition. She also assists clients with navigating the redevelopment process, which may include designation as a site’s redeveloper, negotiation of redevelopment agreements, tax abatement applications, and negotiations of financial agreements. Jennifer works to secure state and local financing incentives for her clients and assists in a range of other transactional matters for them as well, including buying and selling property and commercial leasing.

Jennifer has been a member of CREW NJ since 2009, serving on the CREW NJ board from 2014-2021. She was the CREW NJ President in 2018. Jennifer has served on a number of committees for CREW Network, including the Nominating Committee, Industry Research Committee, and Communications and Editorial Committee. In 2022 and 2023, Jennifer served as a Director for the CREW Network Foundation.

Jennifer received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Rutgers University and her Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from Seton Hall University School of Law. She lives in New Jersey with her husband, Michael, and her twin daughters, Julia and Gabriella, both of whom attend college at the University of Pittsburgh.
