How do I access the convention sessions during the event?

Links to all of the 2020 CREW Network Convention virtual sessions can be found via our virtual event website.

When will I get the links to access convention sessions?

You only need this link for the convention sessions: https://www.eventscribe.com/2020/crew-network-convention/. You will be prompted to login to the virtual platform, and you will be able to access all of the sessions (and later, the recordings) from the virtual platform.


What is included in my convention registration fee?

2020 CREW Network Convention registration includes:

  • Yoga, mindfulness and meditation session, and a strength training class
  • Networking Beverage Breaks
  • CREW Coffee Talk designated networking times
  • General sessions, mega sessions, breakout sessions and roundtables
  • Conversation Corners
  • CREWXchange small group, peer-to-peer discussions
  • Business Networking Happy Hour

Which sessions will be available for viewing on demand after the convention?

The following session types will be available on demand until Friday, Oct. 16.

  • Breakout Sessions - industry-focused session presented by a panel of experts
  • Conversation Corners - facilitated small group conversation
  • Fireside Chats - intimate discussion with a moderator and speaker in an interview format
  • Keynotes - inspirational, informative speech or presentation by one expert or thought leader
  • Live Speaker Q&A - moderated question and answer session with speakers
  • Mega Sessions - larger breakout session presented by one expert or thought leader
  • Roundtable Discussion - facilitated, interactive industry-focused sessions with opportunities for smaller group table discussions
  • Wellness Sessions - Yoga, mindfulness and meditation, and strength training

What is the refund policy?

Since all convention sessions, roundtables and conversation corners will be available for viewing after the live event, registration fees are non-refundable, and substitutions are not allowed.


What is the attendee list and photography policy?

By registering for this event, you are giving CREW Network permission to include your name, employer and CREW Network chapter affiliation (if applicable) on attendee lists. Please note that CREW Network does not sell attendee contact information to any third party. In addition, by virtue of attending the event, CREW Network has permission to use any photos, videos, or images captured for future promotional purposes. Due to privacy regulations, if you are a resident of the UK or EU and would not like to be photographed, please contact Laura Lewis at laural@crewnetwork.org.


Can I download an attendee list?

No. CREW Network is responsible for the privacy of personal data for our 12,000+ members, and this is a priority for our organization. To protect our attendees and prevent the distribution of contact information for bulk emails and electronic spamming, CREW Network does not allow the attendee list to be downloaded. CREW Network members may access full contact information via CREWbiz by clicking on the name of any member attendee.


Where is my attendee gift bag?

Registrants must have registered by Aug. 24 to receive an attendee gift bag prior to the start of the convention. All bags are now sold out as of Monday, Sept. 14. Questions about gift bags should be directed to the CREW Network global headquarters at +1 (785) 832-1808 or via email at crewnetworkevents@crewnetwork.org.


How do I indicate which sessions I want to attend?

Preregistration is not required for any session other than the CREWXChange sessions (see below). In September all registrants will receive access to the 2020 CREW Network Convention virtual website. You will be able to "like" sessions, allowing you to create your own schedule. Most sessions will be recorded and will be available on demand until Friday, Oct. 16. How do I register for a CREWXChange session(s)?

Access to CREWXChange session registration opportunities will only be available to individuals who register for the CREW Network Convention by Aug. 18. Instructions for CREWXChange session registration opportunities will be emailed to convention registrants before Sept. 14. All sessions are at capacity, and substitutions/transfers are not permitted.Check the schedule for open sessions during these times.

I am a student. Why don't I see the student rate when I register?

There are a couple of reasons this might happen. First you must be a member of a CREW Network chapter. Individuals must apply for membership and be approved by the chapter. If you are a 2020 student member of a CREW Network chapter, make sure you are logged in using the email address associated with your membership. If you still cannot register as a student, connect with the CREW Network global headquarters at +1 (785) 832-1808 or via email at crewnetworkevents@crewnetwork.org.


I can only attend parts of the convention. Do you have a registration option for just part of the convention?

No. We want participants to experience the entire convention, so we encourage people to block off both days to fully participate in all of the sessions and experiences. Recordings will be available for review following the event.


My chapter/company has given me a scholarship to pay for the convention registration. How do I use it?

Your chapter/company will need to submit payment for your registration, or they may expect you to register and request reimbursement. Please check with the appropriate chapter/company contact to confirm this process.


I need to register multiple people for the convention. Do I have to do them individually?

No. There are options for multiple persons to be registered in one transaction, depending on whether the payment will be made via credit card (online) or via check (mail PDF form).

Credit card payments
Online registration allows for up to 15 people to be registered in one transaction. Follow the prompts to select the first person's fees, answer questions and you will see an "Add Registrant" button which can be clicked to select from existing records in the CREW Network database or to add a record to the CREW Network database. Select the appropriate registration fees, answer questions and either continue adding more individuals or go to the checkout to pay. View this video for more help

Download the printable registration form (PDF) and complete it for each person and mail following the instructions with a check for the total amount.


I want to register for convention, but I don't know my password. Should I create a new record?

No. First try the forgot password tool and enter in any email addresses you might have used previously to see if you have an existing account. Login instructions will be emailed to that account if you have a record. If there is no existing account, you should follow the prompts to create a new account.


I know I have an account and a password, but the email is an old email which I cannot access. Who can help me?

I registered for convention, but I cannot find my receipt. Can I access it online?

Yes! Download and print your CREW receipts via your account page under My Transactions > Closed Invoices.
