Katherine Frilot Memorial Fund

It is with deep sadness that we share the unexpected passing of our friend, colleague, and New Orleans CREW Past President, Katherine Howe Frilot. Her passing comes as a great shock, and our hearts are heavy as we mourn this tremendous loss.

A memorial fund has been established in Katherine’s name through the CREW Network Foundation. Donations made in her honor will support the Foundation’s mission while also recognizing Katherine’s extraordinary commitment to CREW. It is our goal to raise at least $5,430 to recognize Katherine posthumously as a CREW Visionary. Thank you for helping us honor Katherine’s memory in a way that aligns so closely with her values and service.

Many New Orleans CREW members first met Katherine through CREW Network leadership events years ago. When she later moved from Texas to New Orleans with her husband, Brian, she became a natural and deeply valued part of New Orleans CREW. Katherine was a gifted leader and generous mentor who helped guide the chapter in becoming a stronger, more effective organization.

Katherine was a long-standing member of both CREW San Antonio and CREW New Orleans, serving on the Executive Board and as Past President of both chapters. She was also actively working toward achieving CREW Visionary status. Her leadership, insight, and dedication left a lasting mark on both organizations—and on all of us who had the privilege of working alongside her.

Professionally, Katherine served as Commercial Manager at Credit Human. She was also deeply involved in her church community at Christ Church Cathedral. Above all, she was a devoted wife and mother. Katherine is survived by her husband, Brian, who attended many CREW events over the years, and her son, Mark (Houston) and daughter, Cade (Netherlands).
