Scholarship Selection Committee

The CREW Network Scholarship Selection Committee is responsible for reviewing CREW Network Foundation student scholarship applications and member requests for program support (new in 2027). 

This committee will work closely with the CREW Network Foundation Programs Manager to review and score scholarship applications (excluding Canadian applications, which will be reviewed by the Canadian Scholarship Selection Committee). Committee members will review up to 35 applications, for a total time commitment between 30-40 hours in April and May. Please only apply for this committee if you are able to commit to this amount of time.

The committee will also review member requests for financial support to participate in CREW Network programs, including Leadership Summits, the Leadership Edge Program, and Convention. This member assistance program will launch in 2027.

In addition to committee applicants, each member of  the Founders Row (formerly scholarship endowment founders) has one (1) seat on the committee. The seat is reserved for the individual donor or may be an appointed individual.

Timeline:

• First monthly call: March

• Review member requests for Spring Leadership Summit and Leadership Edge program support: March and April (20 hours of review)

• Introduction to review software: April

• Scholarship application review: April–May (30-40 hours of review)

• Scholarship selection and discussion: May/June

• Review member requests for Convention support: July
