At Bohler, advancing women in commercial real estate has been a cornerstone of our commitment to building an inclusive and equitable workplace for over a decade. Our Women's Professional Network (WPN) has served as the foundation for these efforts, creating pathways for women to thrive at every stage of their careers.
We recognize that meaningful progress requires sustained commitment, strategic action, and transparent accountability. Through our partnership with CREW and our internal initiatives, we are dedicated to creating lasting change that benefits not only our organization but the commercial real estate industry as a whole.
Where We Are Today (as of September 2025)
Our Women's Professional Network (WPN) has been active for 10+ years and is structured around three core mission pillars — Recruit, Retain, and Develop — to promote firmwide collaboration while enabling strong local engagement.
The WPN Council, composed of Committee Leads, Pod Leads, and two Executive Sponsors meets bi-monthly to ensure alignment, share progress, and reduce siloing across the network. Pod Leads act as regional connectors, partnering with local office contacts to implement WPN and DEI initiatives at the regional level. They collaborate with teams to drive key strategic programs including onboarding, visibility enhancement, mentorship, leadership development, and fostering an inclusive workplace culture.
Throughout the year, Bohler’s DEI coordinator provides strategic oversight, event approvals, and cross-functional coordination.
Where We're Headed (aligned to the CREW Pledge)
Partnering with CREW: Collaborating on learning, data-sharing, and cross-industry initiatives to accelerate progress for women in CRE.
Executive Sponsorship & Inclusion: Continuing executive sponsorship of WPN and building stronger advocacy for women and underrepresented groups.
Advancement & Mentorship: Launching an internal mentorship program for women at Bohler to support development and readiness for leadership roles.
Inclusive Recruiting & Hiring: Expanding efforts to strengthen diverse pipelines and bring more equity into hiring practices.
