Leadership Institute
Career-spanning, best-in-class leadership development

In 2026, CREW Network will launch a new Leadership Institute, a comprehensive leadership development program designed for women in all career stages of commercial real estate (CRE). The Institute will combine in-person and virtual learning, synchronous and asynchronous formats, personalized assessments, and clear benchmarks to track growth.
The first phase of the Leadership Institute will be held June through September 2026 for midlevel CRE professionals. Registration for this program will open in early March 2026.
Program pricing
Member - $2,999 USD
Nonmember - $3,999 USD
Please plan and budget for two to three days of travel to Minneapolis, Minnesota for the in-person program components (June 15-16). A discounted room block will be available for program participants at The Minneapolis Marriott City Center ($249 per night plus taxes and fees).
Midlevel program
While there are no age, experience, or title requirements to participate in the midlevel career phase of the Leadership Institute, this program is designed for leaders who have moved beyond individual contributor excellence into people leadership and cross-functional influence, and who must integrate communication, business management, and industry dynamics to succeed.
Participants who will find the most value in participating in this program typically:
Lead teams, projects, or business functions; they may not own a business unit but do own outcomes.
Carry financial responsibility (e.g., budget, NOI, capital projects, project profitability, leasing targets, asset plans) and must communicate and defend financial implications to stakeholders.
Operate at the interfaces (across departments, partners, and clients) where influence, alignment, and conflict resolution matter.
Are expected to present to executives, owners/investors, boards, clients, or municipal stakeholders and to translate strategy into clear, actionable plans.
Are building a leadership brand grounded in EQ, inclusive leadership, and change leadership.
Commission-based leaders who drive revenue and influence and indirectly manage multiple contributors and generate substantial business results for their organization. These individuals often play a critical role in shaping outcomes and client relationships.
If you do not manage people and currently do not have financial accountability as part of your professional role, consider a future phase of the Leadership Institute focused on emerging leaders. If you already own a business unit, regularly set enterprise strategy, or report at the C-suite/partner level, a future senior/executive phase of the Leadership Institute may be a better fit.
