Life Sciences Council

The Life Sciences Council will focus on topics, issues, and opportunities related to the development, construction, property management, and design of life science properties. This includes biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and laboratory facilities, and the broader advancement of pharmaceutical and biologic research, development, and production. Members will discuss emerging trends shaping the life sciences landscape, including new development and lab conversions, funding and venture capital cycles, evolving R&D and testing requirements, and the impact of AI on research and development.

This council is distinct from, but complementary to, the Medical Real Estate Council. Members focused on life science and laboratory properties should apply to this council, while those focused on medical office, outpatient, and hospital properties should apply to the Medical Real Estate Council.

The annual council fee is USD $750 and payable with CREW membership dues. The fee covers in-person meeting expenses, administrative support, and the online community. The council meets once a year in-person in April and more frequently via Zoom.
