Kelly Leanos

Director (2026-2027)

Kelly Leanos is Director of Business Development at Deacon Construction, a nationally ranked general contractor specializing in commercial office, multifamily, industrial, retail, and healthcare projects. Based in Northern California, Kelly is responsible for driving strategic growth, cultivating client relationships, and identifying new opportunities across the region.

Kelly brings more than 25 years of experience in commercial real estate, design, and construction. Prior to joining Deacon, she served as a Principal at Ware Malcomb, where she helped to lead the Northern California region and managed national corporate accounts. Her diverse background gives her a unique perspective across all phases of project delivery and enables her to connect clients with solutions that align vision, value, and execution.

A dedicated advocate for advancing women in the industry, Kelly is a past President of CREW East Bay (2022) and continues to play an active leadership role in the chapter. She launched the chapter’s Mentorship Program, helped establish cross-chapter collaborations, and frequently speaks on topics including sponsorship, career development, and inclusive leadership. Her leadership and contributions have been recognized with the CREW East Bay President’s Award (2021), Most Valuable Member Award (2024), and the Women of Influence Award from CREW Sacramento (2023).

Kelly also founded the Women’s Resource Group at Deacon Construction, creating a platform for leadership development, peer connection, and mentorship across the company. She is actively involved in supplier diversity efforts and is passionate about creating pathways for underrepresented professionals in commercial real estate and construction.

Kelly lives in Northern California with her husband, daughter, and their three beloved French Bulldogs. She enjoys spending time with family, traveling, playing golf, and organizing industry events that bring people together through connection and community.
