Chloe Garside

I started my career in commercial industrial brokerage as a brokerage intern, up to brokerage associate at Colliers. After being with Colliers for 3-years, one of my development clients recruited my brokerage partner & I to open an office for them. After getting exposure to development as an Analyst, I realized I needed to be more client-facing. They put me in a business development role where I built my network, but lost touch with the real estate aspect of the business. About 2.5-years ago, I was recruited for a fantastic opportunity to work for a larger developer. I started as an associate and fell in love with development. Fast forward, I am a development partner with the company focused on sourcing speculative land opportunities, build-to-suits and data center acquisitions. I lead my own projects and continue to grow in my career!

The CREW Network Foundation scholarship gave me the opportunity to chase a career in brokerage and take the risk where I was willing to bet on myself as a commission only professional. I took a risk going to school out of state as I wanted to build something for myself, so I decided to take on student loans to make that happen. Winning this scholarship helped accelerate my career and show me the CREW community believed in me.
