Elyse Viere

After graduating from Virginia Tech in 2019, I joined Perkins Eastman where I've been since. At PE, I've had the privilege of seeing two DC Public School projects through construction and worked in the senior living sector. I've gotten to help introduce architecture as a career path to students in DC through Architecture in the Schools, worked to mentor emerging professionals through NOMAS and internal internship programs, and joined with colleagues at other firms through AIA's Christopher Kelly Leadership Development Program.

It allowed me to pursue Architecture as an education, and introduced me to many incredible women in the industry who encouraged me and inspired me to continue in the industry. While I'm not a member to this day, CREW continues to be a great connecting piece when networking with others.
