International Women’s Day Global Event with Martina Edwards

Celebrate and commemorate #IWD2026 with leadership lessons and inspiration—and your CREW
An investor, philanthropist, and public servant, Martina Edwards believes “to whom much is given, much is required.” From humble beginnings to breaking barriers on Wall Street, she is the epitome of refusing to allow your circumstances to dictate your outcome. A finance major and graduate of Tuskegee University, a historically black college and university, Edwards went on to become the first African American female equity trader for Merrill Lynch and in the 200-plus-year history of the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE).
Edwards’ 25-year career journey has spanned multiple industries from public to private equity, nonprofit leadership and venture capital. Today, through her rewarding work as a President & CEO at Access to Capital for Entrepreneurs (ACE), Edwards is helping to level the playing field by giving business owners a chance when others can’t or won’t.
She assumed the role of CEO in January 2025 after six years as ACE’s Chief of Strategic Partnerships, where she helped raise over $60 million in grant funds, enabling the organization to significantly scale its impact and reach to over 750 small businesses statewide.
Edwards will join this global CREW Network-hosted event live to share her story, leadership lessons, and ways to own your greatness. This International Women’s Day event is complimentary and open to all.
