CREW Network Adds Mexico City and Sarasota/Manatee Chapters

CREW Network has added a chapter in Mexico City (Mexico), and Sarasota, Florida (United States) expanding the organization’s presence to 81 chapters and more than 14,000 members globally. Delegates representing CREW Network chapters unanimously voted to add CREW Mexico City and CREW Sarasota/Manatee on Feb. 9 at the 2024 CREW Network Winter Leadership Summit in Fort Worth, Texas. The new chapters will promote commercial real estate business opportunities for members and provide industry networking, education, and leadership opportunities in their respective markets.

CREW Mexico City (pictured above) was formed under the leadership of Jimena Fernández, Leticia Valenzuela, Teresa Farías, Violeta Solano, Dania Duncan, and Natalia Lozano, and has been rapidly growing since its first official meeting as an affiliate of CREW Network on Sept. 29, 2022. It is the first CREW Network chapter established in Mexico.

"With all the experienced women that helped pave the way for us and have already joined our new chapter, I know we are, and will become, an incredible resource for women in the Mexican community and abroad,” CREW Mexico City’s board said in a collective statement. “We look forward to promote networking and build a community that will support women in the Mexican real estate landscape in the process of fostering their careers, promote business and collaboration among the group.”

The formation of CREW Sarasota/Manatee (pictured above) was initiated by Erin Christy, Ashley McRae, and Katie Gower, all active members of CREW Tampa Bay. In March 2023, the trio recognized the need for a CREW chapter in the Sarasota/Manatee area, an hour commute to downtown Tampa and over two hours to Naples, the two closest chapters. The group has received more than 50 new member applications since June 2023.

 “CREW Sarasota/Manatee bridges a crucial gap in our community’s professional landscape within the commercial real estate industry by providing a platform to bring key stakeholders in a commercial real estate deal together in one room,” 2024 President Erin Christy said. “We are excited to provide this opportunity to professionals in our community, support women in the industry, and extend the reach of CREW members through the well-developed, organized, international network offered by CREW Network.”
