CREW Network Adds Rochester, New York and United Kingdom Chapters
CREW Network has added chapters in Rochester, New York and the United Kingdom (London market), expanding the organization’s presence to 85 chapters and more than 14,000 members globally. Delegates representing CREW Network chapters unanimously voted to add CREW Rochester and CREW UK on Sept. 25 at the 2024 CREW Network Fall Leadership Summit in Vancouver, British Columbia. The new chapters will promote commercial real estate business opportunities for members and provide industry networking, education, and leadership opportunities in their respective markets.
CREW Rochester was formed under the leadership of Andrea Tompkins Wright, Courtney Janto, Jennie O’Brien, Lindsay Rabitz, Karianne Blood, Gabrielle Krawiec, Lisa Moses, and Sarah Pellerin. As the first CREW chapter in New York State based outside of New York City, CREW Rochester is geographically positioned to increase the mission and presence of CREW Network in western and central New York.
“Establishing a CREW chapter in Rochester will help women already working in the field to connect, do business with new contacts in new spaces, learn, and grow,” CREW Rochester’s board said in a collective statement. “A CREW chapter here will also provide the next generation of women in Rochester increased visibility of women successfully navigating careers in commercial real estate. With 11 higher education institutions in and around Rochester, our chapter has an incredible opportunity to showcase the breadth and depth of career opportunities in commercial real estate to those students, as well as those throughout western and central New York.”

CREW UK, based in London, became a CREW Network global affiliate group in 2017, establishing CREW Network’s global expansion outside of North America. The transition from global affiliate to chapter was led by President Kirsty Shearer and President-Elect Sarah Thorley with support by Treasurer Ginny Gibson and Directors Chris Early, Allison English, Sayantani Ghosh, and Naomi Sakamoto.
“CREW UK has served as a pivotal platform for empowering women and allies in the UK real estate market,” the CREW UK board said in a collective statement. “We are committed to advancing DEI in real estate, leveraging the support of CREW Network to propel our collective success in elevating CRE women and creating lasting impact.”
The new chapter is working to elevate its programming to be a leading voice in the UK real estate market, showcasing members' expertise and equipping them with the knowledge and tools to continue to thrive despite the ever-changing market backdrop.
