Cushman & Wakefield Executive Alison Beddard Appointed CREW Network CEO

CREW Network

Alison Beddard, an accomplished commercial real estate executive with 20 years of industry and volunteer leadership experience, has been named chief executive officer of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Network and CREW Network Foundation. Beddard, a CREW Network Past President and member of CREW Seattle, will assume the role on July 28, 2025.

Beddard comes to CREW Network after two decades with Cushman & Wakefield, serving most recently as the Managing Principal for the firm’s Washington and Oregon markets. She joined CREW in 2008 and has served in many board, leadership, and committee positions locally with CREW Utah and globally with CREW Network. She was appointed President of CREW Network in 2017 and became a CREW Network Foundation Visionary in 2018.

“CREW Network’s extraordinary growth in the last several years has not only transformed our reach, but it has also redefined what’s possible for women in commercial real estate,” Beddard said. “As we look to the future, I am deeply inspired to lead our 14,000+ members and 90 chapters in shaping a more inclusive, connected, and empowered industry—through thought leadership, career growth, and game-changing business opportunities that leave a lasting legacy in our communities and across the globe.

"Having proudly served as global President of CREW Network, I have witnessed firsthand the incredible impact CREW has on women’s career trajectory. I am committed to our members' success and creating positive change, enabling all women in the commercial real estate industry to succeed and grow. I am eager to collaborate with the board and our members to achieve these goals and push for progress."

During her term as CREW Network President in 2017, Beddard guided the board through a global expansion, the selection and onboarding of a new CEO, and a comprehensive redesign and launch of the CREWbiz online networking platform.

In January 2021, Beddard was appointed Managing Principal for operations for the state of Washington. She successfully developed Cushman & Wakefield’s platform across Puget Sound, recruiting top talent and building a winning team. Due to her successful track record of strategic growth, her role was expanded to include the state of Oregon in 2023.

Prior to her leadership positions in the Pacific Northwest, Beddard oversaw Cushman & Wakefield’s Utah operations. She led a successful office brokerage practice for more than 14 years before transitioning to leadership, specializing in office leasing, acquisitions and dispositions for occupiers, private investors and nonprofit organizations.

Beddard has also been recognized for her work in the community and toward the equality and advancement of women in the commercial real estate industry. She has served as Chair of the Americas Leadership Council for Cushman & Wakefield's Women’s Integrated Network (WIN).

Beddard has been honored by numerous publications, including CONNECT Media Power Women 2022, Utah Business Magazine's Thirty Women to Watch, Real Estate Forum Magazine's Women of Influence 2022 and 2017, Puget Sound Business Journal's Power 100 List for three years in a row, PSBJ 2023 Woman of Influence and most recently was honored as 2024 PSBJ Business of Pride honoree. She currently serves on the University of Washington Runstad Real Estate Advisory Board and the Executive Committee of the Commercial Brokers Association (CBA). She is a graduate of Virginia Tech and the Yale Women’s Executive Leadership Program.

"We are thrilled to welcome Alison Beddard as the new CEO of CREW Network,” said Cindy MacMillan, Vice President – Asset Management, Grosvenor and 2025 CREW Network President. “She brings an extraordinary combination of executive-level industry expertise, successful leadership within CREW, and an unwavering commitment to advancing women in commercial real estate. As CREW continues to grow, our platform is expanding and evolving to meet members’ needs both locally and globally. Our vision for the future demands bold leadership—and we know Alison is the right leader to take CREW into the future.”

The CEO Search Committee was led by Alyssa Dangler, CREW Network Past President, and comprised of current and former CREW Network Presidents and Directors, including MacMillan. Global search firm Korn Ferry was retained to conduct the search.

Previous CREW Network CEO Wendy Mann announced her resignation in November 2024 after serving as CREW Network CEO for eight years. Consultant Alyson Reed served as CREW Network Interim CEO from January 13 – June 13, 2025.
