Make a Difference That Matters

William A. Millichap Fellowship Program

The pandemic has taken a toll on all of us in different ways. One aspect we can all agree on is that we’ve been forced to reassess our priorities and focus our time on things that matter to us.

The question many of us ask ourselves daily is, “Did I make a difference?” Work, like life, must have meaning for us—now more than ever before. Someone recently asked me how I liked my job. “I love it,” I gushed. “I feel like I am really making a difference for women.”

Making a difference is important to me personally as well as professionally. We each find a way to make meaning in our work and in our personal lives. I applaud our leadership as well. They give so much of their time to our organization because it matters to them—and they want to make a difference. They seek opportunities to partner with CREW because it takes all of us together to make change.

The recent announcement of our partnership with Marcus & Millichap is an example of making a difference. The William A. Millichap Fellowship Program matters. It will make a difference to those who are fortunate enough to be selected to participate. Most importantly, CREW Network will work in partnership with Marcus & Millichap to encourage women to apply. This is real action. This is real opportunity. This really matters. This will make a difference.

Marcus & Millichap is making a significant investment in diversity and talent development to bring about change within their company as well as within the industry. Stepping forward with this program delivers a specific strategy to make change. Working with CREW Network, along with Project Destined, is where rubber hits the road. Together, we all make a difference.

I salute the women of Marcus & Millichap who are already members of CREW Network.  We want to see more Marcus & Millichap in our ranks. I encourage our members to explore the WAM Fellowship Program. You, too, can help make change.

Cheers,

WM
