We Are One CREW: Leading Into The Future

CREW Network invests in annual training for chapter leaders to build their leadership skills, create stronger chapters, and create a unified CREW experience. The skills and learning gained here will help members be stronger leaders and employees.

Chapter leaders serving as 2026 President and 2026 President-Elect (president in 2027) are required to attend this event and will each be reimbursed up to $500 USD in transit costs following the event, as long as all sessions are attended and a post-event survey is completed. The format is structured so the majority of attendees can fly in Thursday morning and fly out on Friday afternoon.

2026 Presidents & 2026 Presidents-Elect must arrange their transportation to Dallas/Fort Worth, but should not contact the hotel.
Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) is the closest airport to the training. Participants should arrive in Dallas/Fort Worth by 2 p.m. CT on Thursday, October 23. Departing flights can be scheduled after 4 p.m. CT on Friday, October 24.

CREW Network will manage all hotel reservations and cover one hotel room night (Thursday) for each participant. If a return flight is not available on Friday after 4 p.m., a second hotel room night will be covered with advance approval (contact jennyw@crewnetwork.org).

Thursday, October 23 - 2:30 p.m. - Evening:

  • Welcome/Overview (2:30 p.m.)

  • Governance 101

  • Delegation

  • Reception and dinner provided (in hotel)

Friday, October 24 - 7:15 a.m. - 2 p.m.:

  • Breakfast/Networking (7:15 - 8 a.m.)

  • Leadership Panel

  • Succession Planning Workshop

  • Lunch provided (in hotel)

  • Keynote Speaker: Chapter Culture

  • Closing remarks completed by 2 p.m.

Once most chapters have identified their 2026 President-Elect (likely early in September), CREW Network will open registration to gather each participant's dietary needs, accommodation preferences, and hotel check-in/check-out dates. At this time, you will be able to indicate if you need to extend your stay before or after the event for personal or business reasons, at your own expense. CREW Network will then coordinate with the hotel to reserve a room for each participant and communicate confirmation details.
