This multifaceted meeting brings together the top leaders in CREW Network to learn from one another about chapter management, but also to learn from leading experts about the critical leadership skills that give you the business advantage. Ever feel unsure about how to handle a tough conversation? When communicating a point of view or a concern, are you feeling unheard or misunderstood? Successful influence requires many prerequisites, one of which is having a solid sense of your personality and knowing which aspects may enable and / or hinder your interpersonal interactions. In this session, we will explore nuances for navigating personality differences. Additionally, you will be exposed to frameworks for effectively sharing feedback and managing conflict when crucial conversations need to be had.

Learn tips, best practices and strategies to lead your chapter and successfully onboard the next generation of leaders. Join chapters of similar size for four 20-minute lively roundtable discussions to close out your summit experience. Table topics:
Consider timing, training, and overlap in this discussion on how to onboard new directors to your board and new committee leaders.
Don't reinvent the wheel every year. Document processes and standard operating procedures for the board and committees. Discuss format, training and ideas to hold designated people accountable to update regularly.
We know that members who are engaged tend to benefit the most from CREW. Share ideas to help busy professionals not feel overwhelmed, yet build awareness of the benefits they will receive by volunteering.
Cultivate Inclusion and Awareness
CREW is a platform in which CRE professionals can learn about other facets of the industry, engage with their peers across the globe and advance their careers leveraging these connections. Discuss deliberate actions that leaders (and members) can take to exemplify the growth and support of fellow CRE professionals with the goal of abolishing other perceptions of the organization. (E.g. get rid of labels: clique-ish, women's group, etc.)
