Savills: Climate, Culture, and Community

Together, here in North America and globally, we have made tangible and meaningful impacts on our three performance pillars: Climate, Culture, and Community.

At Savills, we believe that creating a diverse, inclusive environment that reflects our clients is fundamental to achieving excellence in our business. We recognize that the most effective way to address our clients' complex needs is to build diverse teams of professionals who bring their own unique perspectives to client engagement.

A company is nothing without a strong culture. We actively foster an inclusive workspace, aiming to attract diverse talent, develop and support our people, and always lead by example.

Since 2019, Savills has reached the following milestones in relation to our commitment to the goals outlined in CREW’s CRE Pledge for Action:

  • Increased the number of women in leadership positions, notably promoting Janet Woods to President, North America; Ann Duncan Inman to Chief Operating Officer; and Sarah Dreyer to Chief Information Officer.

  • In 2024, the firm hired three professionals to serve in market leader positions, all women: Ruth Fischer, President, Canada; Cally Miltenberger, Co-President, Texas; and Donna Abood, Co-Head, Florida.

  • In 2024, the firm added two senior-level women executives to its executive board: Dreyer and Katrina Kostic Samen, Head of Savills Workplace Studio. They joined Duncan Inman and Woods, and Sonja Glatzhofer, Chief Human Resources Officer, who were already serving on the board.

  • Savills increased the number of women in client-facing roles from 17% to 23% over five years. In fact, Savills top producer in 2023 was Ann Marie Collins. Ann Marie was the first non-leasing or capital markets professional in Savills North America’s history to be named top producer.

  • In 2023 and 2024 to date, 19 client-facing women at Savills have been recognized by commercial real estate trade publications for their accomplishments and contributions to the industry.

  • In 2023, Savills ranked 21st overall and number one among real estate providers in Newsweek's Excellence 1000 Index, standing out for corporate success and responsibility.

  • In 2022, Savills formed a strategic alliance with Integrative Partners, a certified minority- and women-owned commercial real estate services firm founded by industry veteran Shawna Menifee.

  • The Women’s Initiative Network (WIN) is one of Savills North America’s inaugural employee resource groups, created over four years ago to provide a space for open communication, relationship-building, and learning among client-facing women at the firm. The group has more than doubled its membership since its founding.  Other Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), include Black Excellence United, Young Savills Network, and Pride+.

Other Initiatives of Note:

  • Savills supported 97 nonprofits across North America, including the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), various breast cancer awareness campaigns, and Anaplastic Lymphoma Kinase Positive (ALK+) lung cancer research initiatives, through collaborative staff and corporate contributions.

  • We provided essential supplies to over 4,400 students through the Black Excellence United Philanthropy Committee's Back-to-School Drive.

  • Our firm also continued our annual Julien J. Studley Award, named after the founder of our legacy firm. This award recognizes individuals with an exemplary focus on philanthropy, advancing diversity and inclusion, volunteering, and sustainable environmental efforts.
