CREW Network Award FAQ
Q — Are nominees automatically notified they have been nominated, or provided with a copy of the application upon submission?
A — No, nominees are not notified upon submission of an application. Nominators should consider working with the candidate to provide as detailed a submission as possible.
Q — When are recipients of the awards notified? And when are those not selected notified?
A — Award recipients are approved by the CREW Network board of directors the week of the Spring Leadership Summit. The week following the summit, all recipients are notified via phone. Those not selected will receive an email by the end of the week post-summit.
Q — Is there a nomination process for Distinguished Leaders and the Circle of Excellence?
A — No. Nominations for Distinguished Leaders and the Circle of Excellence are brought forth and appointed directly by the CREW Network board.
Q — Are self-nominations accepted for Impact and CREW Catalyst awards?
A — Yes! Self-nominations are encouraged.
Q — Who can submit nominations?
A — All members are encouraged to submit a nomination for Impact Awards and the Catalyst Award. Only CREW members are eligible to receive one of the five Impact Awards. Membership is not required to receive the Catalyst Award.
Q — Is there a limit to how many nominations may be submitted by one person?
A — No. One person may submit multiple nominations. We do not recommend a group of people working together submit individual nominations for the same person or project. Multiple submissions for one nominee will not influence the judging process.
Q — May I submit after the deadline?
A — No. The deadline will not be extended under any circumstances. Therefore, it is recommended you plan ahead, prepare your answers in a Word document before accessing the online application, and submit early. This will alleviate last minute problems with technology or sudden conflicts.
