Free Money
Growing up in rural America with parents who did not attend college and few financial options, I missed great opportunities to receive money for college scholarships. My sole focus was getting into the school of my choice—which was private and out of state. A costly choice for sure. But my heart was set on St. Bonaventure University, and nothing was going to stop me from attending—even lack of funds.
Scholarships were less available back then, but certainly I could have found some. I didn’t work hard enough to find, apply, and earn them. Shame on me—free money is everywhere!
Female students in commercial real estate today have oodles (that’s a technical term) of options to access free money. Scholarships abound from companies and organizations—like CREW Network.
